This trimester I have grown so much. I learned how to cut different ways and what knife to use for each different cut. I also learned other life lessons like using time wisely and making sure I'm getting assignments and work done in the time given. I learned to not listen to people who haven't grown at all or as much. One of my personal goals was to learn how to cook a multitude of things so that when I live on my own I'm not just making microwavable meals and spaghetti. I've learned how to cook chicken and my own pico de gallo, I don't know any college student who knows how to make their own pico de gallo. What I learned most was how to be an independant woman and learn to find ingredients or anything I need on my own. I can do most things on my own and I don't need to ask for help, but when I need help I ask. If I could learn anything else through this trimester is how to work better and in a more timely manor while under stress. I think that could have helped me a little more throughout the tri.
Cupcakes wars was a really fun final exam. I liked how my groupmate and I fixed our recipe, which was a disaster the first time. I think that showed us how easy it is to find a solution to a problem. I also think our presentation was a very cute idea.
